Anti wrinkle injections

When we squint or frown, we use the muscle in our face. Over time these repetitive movements along with environmental and lifestyle factors such as ageing, sun exposure, dehydration and smoking cause our face to lose its volume, contour and elasticity. Botox is a trade name of ‘botulinum toxin’ and has become the generic term for anti-wrinkle injections. At Sandbanks Clinic we only use Allergan Botox, which is the original and known to be therapeutic, and used in all NHS hospitals for treatments. Every face is unique and every treatment at Sandbanks Clinic is tailored to meet your expectations and create what you are hoping to achieve.

Botox

Botox temporarily relaxes muscles which would normally cause wrinkles to soften the appearance of these fine lines between the eyebrows, forehead and rest of the face.

Advanced Botox Treatment

Botox can also be used to combat excessive sweating, migraines and bruxism. For bruxism, Botox is injected into the masseter muscles of the face to reduce movement and prevent grinding the teeth. For excessive sweating, the injections can help to temporarily inhibit the over-active sweat glands.
